The 4Cs of Diamonds

The 4Cs — carat, cut, color, and clarity — are the standard vocabulary for describing a diamond. They do not replace seeing a stone in person, and they do not by themselves determine value. YDR Jewelers uses laboratory reports and direct inspection together. If a report field is missing from our inventory, we will say so rather than guess.
